Whether you've come to live or just visit, you are the people of Velwythe. Start by creating a page in the velwiki to tell about yourself, and go from there. For better or for worse, everything you do has an impact on the world of Velwythe, and because of that, the Velwythe books. But just like any civilized world, there are rules. Here are a few things to remember when you are in Velwythe:
1. By creating an account and/or interacting with the wiki you agree to he terms and conditions[2] and privacy policy[3] of Velwythe.com. You are responsible for understanding and abiding by those rules.
2. The Velwythe books are the standard with which to create and edit the world. Meaning, everything you do and create or edit absolutely must agree with the written texts. You will have the chance to change the future, but the books already written are set in stone (and just because it's a wiki doesn't mean you can try and change the stone). Anything that disagrees or causes a conflict with the past books will be removed. And if you continue to post false or misleading information you will be banned from the site.
3. Everything you do in Velwythe should be about Velwythe. Basically, there is no CNN and no NASCAR in Velwythe. If you want to create a post about that, find an appropriate place elsewhere to do so, or it will be removed. However, if you would like to know more about Earth as it relates to Velwythe, click on Earth.
4. While you have creative liberty to create the life and world you want, anything too far off from the general flow of the books and world will be removed by other users, or if needed, Bonn himself. Again, you get to create the world, but the likelihood of quarter inch mutant anchovy people coming to the planet in a Fiat 500 while carrying pizzas that shoot lasers is pretty slim. So don't waste everyone's time, yeah? But if you think that might happen in Velwythe, there are certainly speculative magazines that focus on the paranormal within Velwythe, such as The Others, a publication not associated with any of the main provincial presses.
5. Finally, you can create more than just text. If you have or would like to create any images or music or any other media in general, you are more than welcome to. Velwythe is as real as you make it.
