Jeff Schoener is at it again! This past week marked a milestone for Neuro-Enhancement Strategies and for audio recording in Atla. Combining the latest audio recording technology with his Mind-Body and Whole Brain Learning, Schoener released a brief recording with exercises on effective affirmation techniques and how to make your affirmations more effective. This recording “Goes beyond the standard mantra repetitions and uses all our senses”.

The very way the Atlan military fights its battles will soon be revised. With the latest Infantry Weapons Systems invention finally being produced for our troops, accidental deaths and wasted ammunition are going to be a thing of the past. The once hazardous system of carrying and using Marble Bombs has been completely reworked to be safer and quicker than any other weapon to date. But most importantly, it is also more accurate and deadly, ensuring our troops fighting The War Against Hatred will always, and quite literally, have the upper hand.

Developed by IWS, the Personal Marble Cannon version 147, or PMC-147 will revolutionize the way Marble Bombs are stored and used. Unlike all other storage devices for the bombs, the PMC-147 will keep each individual bomb separate from the others, while still offering immediate access. In fact, the rate in which the bombs can now be fired has increase by nearly 1000% over the competing personal weapons, and even tops some automatic, mounted Marble Cannons. By storing the Marble Bombs in a back mounted container, with each bomb sitting safely in its own chamber and ready to be deployed when necessary, a foot soldier can decimate an entire fort or encampment almost singlehandedly.

While the actual design and workings of the PMC-147 are highly classified, some of the weapon’s unique features have been made public. General Evan Patterson (Ret.), one of the lead engineers and researchers on the project spoke to the Observer about PMC-147.

PMC-147 works by compressing air within the unit to eject the Marble Bombs at a high rate of speed, but with ease needed to prevent them from detonating prematurely. Inside the back unit are thousands of individual chambers which all lead to a central and larger chamber. This chamber leads from the back unit to the hand unit by way of a small tube. Once the individual Marble Bomb reaches the hand unit it is fed into one of the four rotating barrels and ejected.”

After watching a brief demonstration of the PMC-147, General Patterson continued, “It’s not going to be easy to use, that’s for darn sure. This thing will wear you out. But considering the other options of hurling them individually or using some of the other contraptions, it’s more than worth it. Consider you could spend an entire day doing what would take mere minutes with the PMC-147 and you realize it’s well worth it.”

PMC-147 primarily takes its energy from muscles and nerves. While a user’s entire body will feel the effects, the unit was designed to transfer the magi those areas so as to keep the user’s mind sharp and ensure a speedy recovery.

There has not been enough time to see whether or not the promises of IWS and General Patterson will come true. Many weapons systems have come and gone throughout the past baring the same promises. But if General Patterson’s confident smile and determined nod in response to our question of, ‘will it work’ is any indicator, war on Velwythe will change forever.

Three people were killed and five more were wounded in an attack on the Silent Light corporate headquarters located in Emigration Plains, Sed. While two men have been captured, the identity and intent of the group is still unknown. No comments have been made by the suspects. In fact, neither of them have spoken a single word even to each other. It has been confirmed that the attacks were not from any of the major factions from the archipelago. The Provincial Council urges all readers to stay calm and to know that there is no threat of an attack by any of the warring factions from the archipelago. 25 men and women gathered around the perimeter of the Silent Light building at approximately 8:37 in the morning. Witnesses of the event say that, in perfect synchronization, the group began tossing Marble Bombs at the building’s foundation. It only took a few seconds before the entire building was surrounded by burning debris and clouds of flame. What finally stopped the attack was not the local military and police presence. Instead, the attackers simply ran out of Marble Bombs before the building could be destroyed. Five of the attackers were killed in the assault. The volatility of the Marble Bombs combined with the attackers proximity to the building and the tumult of the explosions suggest that even more should have been killed. Only three of the attackers were captured, the rest (who were not killed) vanished in the chaos and have yet to be seen. But authorities are confident the remaining terrorists will be captured. Each of the witnesses to the event noticed how peculiar the individuals looked making authorities hopeful they will be easy to locate. Tracy Wright was walking across the street on her way to work when the attack began. “Everyone I saw was white, all white. Their skin looked so pale.” When asked how the attack actually began, Wright said this, “They were all wearing cloaks or something like that. Suddenly when I was just walking along, they all took off their cloaks and reached into their bags. Before I knew it they were throwing Marble Bombs.” While the group might have vanished without much of a trace, many people saw them congregating over a fifteen minute period before the attack. Samuel Rellin was eating breakfast on a bench down the road when the attackers started showing up. “I was just sitting there eating when a group of people in cloaks stepped off of a transportcart. For a minute they just stood there in a line. Then a few more started to show up, some from behind the buildings and others just walking down the sidewalk. I only saw fifteen of them or so, and they just seemed to be coming out of nowhere.” As for the possible reasons for the attack, we can only speculate. The group had nothing to distinguish them as a certain clan or cult or group. Local authorities are not disclosing anything at this point however. What we do know is that Silent Light is the company responsible for building the high speed railcart that will link FreePort and Alpine. Though the group’s identity is a mystery, many people believe that the group must have come from Alpine due to the general unrest surrounding the growth of the rail inudstry. Authorities are searching not only for individuals, but for the transportcart that dropped off some of the attackers. Investigators from Tru Dahn have already been sent and should arrive within a few days. If you have any news or information regarding the attack we urge you to contact your local authorities.
