frostright treesRumors that the Shaman-Priest of FrostRight has been exiling more and more natives from the province in a time of growing unrest have been confirmed. Three days ago, five families appeared in Seratov after walking from FrostRight City.

These families had obviously been facing the elements on their own for some time and all had varying degrees of injuries and ailments caused by the journey. Only three of the group, which totaled 34 people, spoke Atlan. Luckily they spoke well enough that they were able to give a detailed account of their exile. Many FrostRight natives, even those who don’t understand the language or the full extent of what opening the gates will mean, have been urging the Shaman-Priest to finally end the non-native province wide ban. It seems the number of natives supporting the literal and figurative opening of the city’s gates has been growing faster than anyone ever thought possible. However the Shaman-Priest is as adamant as ever that FrostRight remains isolated and ‘pure’. Ay-Ron, one of the exiled men who speaks Atlan expressed his concern for not only his family, but for the entire city shortly after arriving in Seratov. “We were forced out for being with the Atla, but there are more. Nobody has like for [Shaman-Priest] Shay-Yah but we do nothing about it. We try do something but he has all power from Fa’Oh but misuses it.” A Provincial representative has yet to actually contact the group and officially record their story. The survivors are still being treated and cared for in the Seratov hospital. While they are free to go, local law enforcement has suggested they remain in the area until they can be contacted by a representative. None of the survivors are very anxious about leaving the warmth and safety of the hospital, nor have all of them fully recovered. No further comments have been given by any of the group. It has been nearly six months since the last group of Provincial representatives met with the Shaman-Priest’s councilors so the changes to the city within that time are truly a mystery. If the number of families being forced out is as significant as Ay-Ron suggests then FrostRight’s future among the provinces is in peril. An emergency intervention meeting is planned within the next three days. I will be joining the other FrostRight Council representatives as they travel to the city itself to meet with the Shaman-Priest. Along the way two members will remain in Seratov to further interview the families and if needed, give them assistance in beginning new lives in the rest of Atla.
